About us
Ponte is a mission-driven platform that connects work-authorized immigrants with stable, hourly jobs in the U.S. It specializes in roles like housekeeping and kitchen staff, making it easier for employers to hire reliable talent.
The company was founded by Lorenza Vélez, Stephanie Murra, and Juan Pablo Lozano — Colombian immigrants who previously worked together at Addi, one of Latin America’s leading fintechs. Lorenza and Stephanie are graduates of Harvard Business School, and the team brings deep expertise in operations, technology, and recruiting.
By combining real human support with AI-powered tools, Ponte pre-vets candidates and streamlines the hiring process — helping overlooked talent find dignified work and enabling employers to fill roles faster, with no staffing agency in the middle.

We specialize in hourly roles like housekeeping, kitchen staff, and other entry-level positions. Many of our candidates have limited English or U.S. work experience, so hourly positions are usually the best fit.
We move as quickly as you need us to. Our average time to hire is 10 days — that’s 20% faster than our customers’ usual timelines — but we’ve had roles filled in just 2–3 days.
We connect with immigrants through WhatsApp, local networks, and word of mouth — people traditional job boards usually miss.
Every candidate goes through a two-step process: a WhatsApp questionnaire followed by a 30-minute video interview. We only move forward with candidates who meet your criteria and show strong motivation to work.
